Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — in plain language, because that is how we prefer to work.

1. Who We Are

Teton Web Ventures LLC, an Idaho limited liability company doing business under the assumed business name Teton Web (“Teton Web,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a web design and management business based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit tetonweb.com, use our client portal, or work with us as a client. It does not cover the websites we build and manage for our clients — those sites are governed by each client’s own privacy practices.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out our contact, scheduling, or support forms, create a portal account, or communicate with us, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, website address, and the content of your messages and requests.

Billing information. If you purchase services, we collect billing details such as your billing address and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect certain information automatically, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring pages. We use this for security (such as rate limiting form submissions) and analytics, described below.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services and client portal.
  • Respond to inquiries, support requests, and scheduling requests.
  • Send transactional emails such as confirmations, invoices, and account notices.
  • Process payments and maintain billing records.
  • Monitor site performance, prevent abuse, and keep our systems secure.
  • Understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to the client portal and to understand site usage. Our analytics providers include Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, which collect aggregated usage data such as page views, approximate location, and device information.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to perform their services:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (such as Vercel and Neon) that run our website, portal, and database.
  • Email delivery providers (such as Resend and Google Workspace) for transactional email and correspondence.
  • Payment processors (such as Stripe) for billing and invoicing.
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics), as described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale — in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information until you are notified otherwise.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Client account and project records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and backup purposes. Form submissions and correspondence are retained as long as they remain useful for responding to and documenting your requests. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Security

We take security seriously: our services use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to client data is limited, and our infrastructure providers maintain industry-standard security programs. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@tetonweb.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. We will still send transactional messages related to your account or active services.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients by email or through the client portal.
